New Season of Family Guy starts tonight!!!!

i liked the opening joke. i think our expectations were too high.

They sure were... but it DID look like it was gonna be great for a couple of minutes! maybe they just have to get back into the groove...

ARRGH oh god I just watched American Dad. Did anyone see the pre-pilot that was released about 6 months ago? They butchered it. Fucking terrible.

Compared with that garbage, the new Family Guy was a fucking gem.

Ya, that American Dad had a couple god parts, but overall was horrible. I was HUGELY dissappointed because, like you said, the pilot was pretty damn funny.

South Park unfortunately isn't so great at this point either. It seems like they're focusing too much on 'making a point' and have forgotten that they're a fucking comedy show where humor comes first.

South Park still has plenty of charm... granted off episodes every once in a while. Atleast the content is semi-original and hasn't been done by every other animated comedy show (see: Family Guy's latest season).

And yes, Major Boobage was an awesome episode...

That episode was okay, but it wasn't really consistently funny. Too much of the hippie tripping bullshit. That was unfortunately the best episode this season. Last season wasn't so great either.
