JIZZ....

What's the new one called? I'm guessing that's the Misty Mountains, but that might be too obvious.

Wow. I think that's their best looking one so far.

I'm anxious to see what the SUmmoning box set will contain. Hopefully a bunch of unreleased stuff and the Mirkwood songs.

New Die Verbannten Kinder Evas out this year, too. Party!

Oh yes, this will most likely be very nice indeed. Other than the lastest I've only heard Stronghold, of which I prefer the former, though Stronghold is very good of course.

Hm, what's the Verbranten Kinder Evas like?

spaffe: you need to listen to all the albums, or you're missing out on one of bestest bands ever.

I haven't heard DVKE myself.

Minas Morgul = best Summoning

DVKE is darkwave, with Protector doing the vocals and lots of female vocals.

the terrible production makes them meh.

Production does not equal experience or atmosphere. And for the record, their production is perfect.

I want a new album in the vein of Let mortal heroes sing your fame. It is their best album imho.

1% of the people think of LMHSYF as their best. I think it is my favorite too.

Favourite songs:

The Passing of the Grey Company
Nightshade Forests
Elfstone
Khazad Dùm
Where Hope and Daylight Die
The Loud Music of the Sky

Oh, and this new cover looks mighty spiffy, as Summoning covers tend to.

Yes, THIS I'm looking forward to. Summoning is like my number 1 discovery the last year and a half.

favorite songs:
The Legend of the Master-Ring
Flesh and Blood
Kortirion Among the Trees
Elfstone
Khazad Dúm
Like some Snow-White Marble Eyes
Our Foes Shall Fall
The Mountain King's Return
Ashen Cold

Summoning were at their best between "Minas Morgul" and "Stronghold", peaking at the "Dol Guldur"/"Nightshades Forests" combo. I cannot recall how many books I can relate to Summoning's music, despite not having thousands of layers and exotic sounds and stuff, it is one of the truly visually inspiring bands of our time, and not only do they summon Middle-Earth landscapes...

"Let Mortal Heroes Sing Your Fame" was still a very good one, but there's a disturbing air of cheesiness about it, maybe those dreadful cartoon samples, and the amazing songs/average-to-good songs ratio is much too low, maybe even <1...

My guess is they come up with a huge redemption, now!
