I watched the original religiously, and the new ones are great! It's chronologically before the original, and damn, just saw the 3rd episode, me likes!
Any other fans?

I watched the original some months ago. I was thinking "Why did I watch this so much as a kid?"

I was a huge fan of the original.
When they said that there was going to be a remake I was like "meh", but when they released the first teaser I thought "holy fuck, this is brutal!"

...And then the real thing came, with childish anime style Lion-O and skank Cheetara. I knew that teaser was too good to be true.

Well it couldn't be identical to the original.. I think it turned out great, the 3rd episode had a very familiar feel to it. And Cheetaras boobs are as big as ever

The point is: it's quite difficult to release something with so many color gradations and animate it.
So I guess they went for the classic cartoon style.
Not that bad

The "anime" is tastefully done. It's not like they all have huge eyes like jap-anime usually portrays or anything. I'm a huge fan of the original series... watched them as a kid, and purchased all the season dvd sets when they came out, and I think the new version is pretty well done!
