New to Katatonia

Like I say in every thread like this, every single album is going to get reccomended to you, so make up your own mind about it. You probably won't be dissapointed.

Strangely enough the only album I'm having trouble getting into is one of the most highly reccomended ones. I really can't stomach Discouraged Ones. I haven't gotten too far into it yet, because I tend to switch on Last Fair Deal Gone Down.

I'm so glad I found out about these guys. At the rate I'm listening to them I'll know all their songs in a month, haha.

The new album is brilliant too, btw.

Discouraged ones took me a long time to get into, like 2 months kind of thing. Its amazing when it hits though.

Discouraged Ones doesn't have as many hooks as the other. It really delivers in the gloom and feeling department though

discouraged takes a while but it is indeed awesomeness to the max. You can't really beat lfdgd or ve though.
