all the metal tracks are bfd. i haven't got any of the expansion packs yet. it sounds preety shit hot if you ask me well worth it. easier than hiring a fucking drummer. and pretty convincing!

Disregard the horrible compression Myspace has, the drums sound a bit too dead in my opinion. Especially the snare could use quite a lot more life to it. I've never used BFD but I guess it has some sort of ambience micing available?
yeah it has I realised after i mixed it that I had copied the eq from my over heads to the room mics... duh! i only meant to copy the plugin not the settings, so the room mic channel has all the low mids and low end removed, its pretty heavily compressed too. I agree about the snare, i feel it is a little too low in the mix and could do with quite a bit more ambience. I tend to mix kick heavy i must watch this in the future.
the guitars are recorded via a Palmer PDI-09 DI box, sounds wicked (better than the engls cab sim), it even adds that sub (100Hz down) thud that you would get with a mic'd cab! its the best guitar sound I have found for the price... I work in a semi pro studio and its a better sound than most amps I rec (most being Marshall so no suprise there!).

What do you guys think of the vox, basically the only three songs I have put vox on are the three on myspace it that order too; top being latest. The dance track is not me singing.
