I hear that man. Manntis? Sworn Enemy? God Forbid? Ugh.

Anyway, doors open at 6 PM, tickets & website say show @ 8 PM. I can't imagine with 3 opening bands, that Anthrax can possibly be on stage any earlier than 10:30 PM or so.

I think we're not even heading in untl 9:30.
 
I guess we'll find out by seeing what time they go on in baltimore tonight.It should be the same tomorrow since both start at 8.Lets hope we get some baltimore reviews on here.

dont care about the front bands i want to listen to anthrax....

Alive 2 sounds fun cause its faster than john bush era anthrax...not that i don't mind that...

i like both eras and play them religiously....

If the show starts at 8, Anthrax cannot possibly be on stage by even 10 PM. There are THREE OPENING BANDS, which at bare minimum, is 90 minutes of music (30 minutes each, and I guarantee God Forbid gets longer than 30 minutes). Add in at least 15 minutes between each band (more for Anthrax) and you have Anthrax going on stage at 10:30-11 PM.
 
Why would they open the doors at 6 for a show that starts at 8.Why dont they get the openers playing at 6:30 instead of having people stand around for 2 hours.

Don't ask me, I don't run the club. But since the Nokia in NYC holds over 3,000 people AND the show is sold out, my guess is they're allowing for those who want to "rush up to the front of the stage" the opportunity to do so, and for a thorough security check to not keep people from seeing any of the show. Just a guess.
 
Regaurdless of what time we actually get there, My brother & I will push our way up to the front {right before they take the stage} and weed out the weak:rock:

The more people have to stand around, the more they're bound to buy over priced drinks.
 
If you're one of those "insist on being up front" guys, more power to you, but I'll tell you right now, the BEST sound in the Nokia is at the back of the floor/pit section, right near or in front of the soundboard.
