Ok guys, this is going to be a bit sappy so please bare with me.
So this forum has been a pretty interesting part of my life. I've gone and met a few of you guys, talk to a lot on a regular basis, still get drunken phone calls from various members of the forum quite often at midnight on a work night *coughjeffcough*
But it's a great place, and it's been a good part of my internet life that has spilled over into my "real" life.
That being said, some (or most) of you know that I met a girl on the forum not too long ago. Vicky and I started chatting a couple months ago after she joined the forum, and things just instantly clicked. She came to visit this week (I think there are 4 or 5 threads where someone was asking about the countdown in my signature
) and we've spent the most wonderful time together. Everything is perfect... we get along so well, we finish each other's thoughts, there's an immense understanding of each other without even having to say anything. We love each other so deeply. It has literally been the best experience of our lives.
It didn't take long for me to know that she was the one for me, and last night I proposed to her. I know... it seems fast and some will think it's a rushed decision, but we're both certain that this is meant to be and are incredibly excited (she said yes by the way!!)
I don't know that it's necessary to make a whole new thread for this, but really this place has been awesome and we really wanted to share this with you guys since, without this place, we would never have found each other. Thanks to all for sharing this with us
