Newsflash - Hell has frozen over!

Funny thing happened - I accidentally walked into the girls' locker room and saw some women in various states of undress, and one of them asked me to give them a backrub. I thought that sort of thing only happened in the movies - apparently not.
dude. Do you think that will happen if I 'accidentally' do that tonight at my gym?

They even waived the $100 joining fee because it was a special promotional offer, but then later on I wondered if they ever actually charged the fee for anyone, or if they always found a reason to waive it so that people would think, "Look, they waived the $100 joining fee!".
Congratulations - you just passed marketing 101 :)

well, i didnt' do taht change room thing, but i DID do something a bit different tonight.

Did the "body pump" class. Crikey, it was bloody full on! I thought I might faint, vomit or possibly die at least a couple of times. Awesome workout. Some unbelievably fit looking women in the class too.

This just became a regular part of my fitness routine. WOOO

That is because body pump is not as manly as lifting weights. Classes like that tend to be aimed at general cardio vascular fitness and weightloss or toning. Guys don't want that apparently, they just want muscles. So they go and take their stupid protein suppliments and do bench presses.

My mates girlfriend made me go to a body pump class once. It's so much more of a work out than anything you do lifting. he only thing I do regulary is that even close to that level is 4 a side indoor soccer in the canberra div 2 comp. Even that isn't as tiring.

I just wanna get less fat, so I'm happy to do the cardio stuff until then. Being a big muscly bloke doesn't interest me that much at the moment.

Got my first personal trainer session on Tuesday arvo. Should I go to the gym before then and mess about on the treadmills and such, or just wait until then?

Wait until then, because they should be measuring your heartrate, blood pressure and fitness levels and stuff like that, and doing stuff before it skews the results.

Oh wait, you mean actually visit the gym and play on stuff, not immediately before your appointment. Just ignore me then and do whatever the hell you want. Just make sure you know how to use what you're using, or you could do yourself an oopsie.
