Nice Jacob Hansen interview

We were confident enough to work with little frodo when we heard it was gonna take longer before we could enter with dirk.
What ken just pulled out of his ass drumming wise is just amazing on this one.

were on bass and guitars now.. first vocals today aswell.

Ah yeah, Bedene is an insane drummer, fairly local to me (both Kens and the Abigail guys are based a town over now, actually). Seen him numerous times between Abigail and Abysmal Dawn, didn't realize he was also with Aborted!

Mercenary - anything! Awesome music, killer production. Funny he mentions working on 'historic' albums; to me the Mercenary stuff is future classic material.

I'm glad you said this, exactly how I feel about the band!

All of his productions have great, epic vocals. Some of the newer Raunchy stuff sounds amazing too.

Did you see if there was any kind of eq in the kick track during the recordings? Every studio report I see, the kick I hear in the control room is very clicky with lot of thump, but everytime I record drums, the kick (if not equalized) is very boomy, despite the mic positioning and the amount of dampening inside the kick.

its that :) made by james brown, designer of the original 5150, the guitarpedal also has the most dynamic distortion coming from a pedal ever.

This is a demo by me, done fast before going to the studio, esp bass into dist then sansamp al on 12ish.
NO eq at all on the bass signal, bass is doubled for the heck of it :)

great bass dist, very harmonicaly rich and easily tweakable to alot of cool sounds.
Think last converge for one.
