I don't like when people are saying that this and that "is shit". It has a lot to do with expectations, what you want to hear on an album, or are used to. Dan Swanö is changing music styles very often, but when you engage in it, you'll find what's the key behind it. When you reduce Swanö's albums to the harmonies, they will always be good, only the covering is different.
There aren't many artist that never dissapointed me, but Swanö is one of them. The others are Katatonia, Anathema and Arena.
All of them are geniuses in their own way.

i only have nightingale's "i" album and it's quiite decent though some of the lyrics are VERY corny. but thats ok though, dan swanö is quite a good musician.

i can understand you like the music, but theres no way he and his brother have the right to be that big-headed. its totally off-side like. totally off-side. this music is not original at all, its not ground breaking, its not amazing and its not extraordinary. its very very ordinary.

i don't understand why do you care so much about the things he say, i never even bother to read that kinda stuff... as for nightingale's last album, i didn't like it too (i'm not much into progressive stuff), but the previous 3 albums were very nice...especially the second one, some good melodies and moods... at least i appreciate what he has done, he did one very good album with godsend i think...
