On a free day two weeks ago, I used the time to get used to CUBASE SX since I still work with VST. I also wanted to try my PEAVEY Classic amp on metal guitars.
So I did an Opeth like song. It's written, recorded, mixed and mastered on one day, so don't overrate the sound and the song. The lyrics are total bullshit, just English words without sense.

Seriously, I just sing some English or Denglish (German meets English) words. Sometimes there are perhaps some meaningful words, but the whole thing makes no sense at all! Bullshit par exellence!

so I can't really help you to find out what I sing. I just choose the words spontaniously by sound and not by meaning!

Here's what I hear in the chorus:

"So step close for the lullaby, you should burn their crosses to know"
(Now i becomes relly stupid!)
"So you know to be the light, to be, to know that you won't care. Holding their ????rown???"

Whatever that means.

Thanks for remembering whatever you could. It's just such a kick ass song, and I listen to it quite frequently but I just don't know how to sing along with it.

Okay, Guys! I've put the drumsounds onto my website.
I've got the following things to explain:

1.) It's a ZIP file in a RAR file so you need to decompress it two times.

2.) These drumsounds are quite old. I don't use them anymore. That's way there's one file missing. It's the Ambient Snare. I just could not find it anymore. The Ambient Bass drum is still there.

3.) These drumsounds are completely unprocessed! There's no EQ, compression or efx. If you want to make it sound more metal and more punchy, you should process them a bit.

4.) It's three kits.
a.) One RMIII kit contains Kick, Snare, Toms and Ride
b.) One RMIII kit contains the Cymbals
c.) One RMIV kit contains the Hihat

So you NEED a Linplug RMIV to open these files! With a RMIII you can't open the HH drumkit.
