With all the talk about NR on here, I got my 'The Grand Illusion' cd out last night and listened to it. Great album, would definantly do well at PP in my opinion.

I've been listening to it for two days straight as well!

And oddly enough, I was just listening to Grand Illusion (also the name of a classic Styx album - Dennis DeYoung was the singer) a little while ago. I remembered that this thread had been up here and thought it funny that it was so active today.

Grand Illusion is one of those few power metal albums that I REALLY enjoy! The guitar player is AWESOME!! No, not even close to being an Yngwie rip-off. Actually, he reminds more of Marty Friedman in his style. Great phrasing and execution. I'd love to see these guys @ PP8! Don't know that they are headlining status, but I'd be in on there set regardless of slot!
