Noise Gate Help.

Hi guys,

I want to get a noise gate for mainly recording use (to cut down editing time aha) and some live use in front of my amp.

I've been looking at the ISP Decimator (not the G-string), the Boss NS-2 and the MXR Smart Gate. I like the whole x-pattern thing that you can do with the NS-2, but I hear great things about the ISP and Smart Gate.

So, choose for me please?

Never had an issue with my ns2 in 5 solid years of touring although it is a tone sucker. No experience with the others except for the decimator pro rack g which is awesome.

I have a old Symetrix gate/expander in my rack, dont use anymore, but it works really well. I'm all digital these days.
