Non-metal music stuffs (recommendations)

Such a cool song. I tried finding guitar covers of it, but they're all pretty bad. Sometimes I guess you just have to leave things alone.

Yeah, because nobody has ever heard Lux Aeterna before... Mate, the idea of a "recommendations" thread is generally to introduce people to new music they might not have heard. Hardly the best place for one of the most popular theme songs ever

Anyway, the version called "Requiem for a Tower" that was made for the LOTR: Two Towers trailer is better.

I got Lux Aeterna and Requiem for a Tower, I deleted Lux Aeterna because I thought the LOtR version was better and now I want it again

I had heard this song quite a few times and didn't really register to look it up, and then the other day stumbled across it on youtube and had been hooked on it ever since. That aside, this version is alright, I'm not sure which I like better really. But anyways, good song regardless. If anyone has any recommendations of anything similar to this I would like to hear them though please :).

Best song on the album :D

Yes and no.
Some of their stuff I get REALLY into, then it all of a sudden turns into a Latino siesta of some kind, its fucked. I don't really like that sound, especially when not expecting it, though I'll admit sometimes it makes me feel like I'm watching The 5th Element...this cannot be a bad thing.

Some of their stuff is really good though, I dig'em.

Danger! My freind was playing me this.
Its fantastic!

Man, get some ears  Every specialized music website treats him as the definitive moron. "Your album sounds like Jean-Michel Jarre" = stop music and go fishing.

Failure_o_threads, didn't you know, Nerve's opinion is the law. So quit ur bickering lol :p

Anyhow, Miyavi's acoustic album is badass. The rest of the stuff is sorta OK I guess.
