Not too growly, not too clean?

Can anyone recommend some bands that have a singer whose voice is not too growly (death metal) and not too high (most power metal)? I am a big power metal fan, but the singers usually make me cringe.

kiuas is a good call. go with the older stuff. the newer stuff is too chuggy.

turisas
borknagar
ihsahn
tyr (all clean, but not in power metal range)
die apokalyptischen reiter (newer stuff is more clean. older is more growly)

Benediction has growly vocals that aren't full-blown grunts.
I think High on Fire does too.

Eh, I guess. Lemmy doesn't really growl, though - his voice is naturally very gruff. High on Fire's vocalist is making an effort to sound growly I'd say.

Power metal without high vox...Matt Barlow and Ripper Owens don't go too high.

Odins Court are a very proggy band but unlike a lot of prog metal bands don't have really high vocals, the guy just sings normally.

Based on the relatively small amount of their stuff I've heard...Barlow doesn't go too high on the Iced Earth stuff I have with him, and Ripper doesn't go too high on Jugulator as far as I can remember. Not a big fan of his vocals, though.
