It's there a chance for a vhs copy at least? My uncle has a device that can record from vhs to dvd. But if there is any inconvenience, I will understand.

I don't promise you anything, but since I have my old videorecorder, I can try to copy the tape using the old and the new one...

I could do that too, the problem is: there's a difference in the video format analogous to the 110 vs 220 voltage that differ from america to europe. Unless she's got a VHS tape player/recorder that supports PAL and NTSC, she's screwed.
I really appreciate your efforts my dear friends. Pal or NTSC formats are welcome. There's no problem. Perhaps you would like some old out print stuff as trade...

I think you misunderstood me. What I said is that there's a difference in VHS formats, these can be PAL, NTSC or even SECAM (which I didn't mention earlier).
Check the zones and their respective format(s) to check if you equally apply. Otherwise wildy, you might be sending a VHS tape which won't show image in anyway. That was the only drawback I had not to send a tape to Stasera..

I mean, if Wildhoney is able to send me a vhs cassette and if it is pal format there is no worry here. My uncle's recorder supports pal system, and even if his recorder won't work, There is a local technical place here, - i don't know exactly what they do - but they can fix those pal vhs, so we can see it...
