I prefer more "classic" (for lack of a better word) sounding doom bands like Candelmass, The Gates of Slumber, Solitude Aternus, Solstice, Reverend Bizarre and such.

For me it's exactly the opposite, I prefer my Doom with a large shot of Death Metal, particularly when it comes to the vocals.
