Now playing thread

Mostly Idle Blood with the acoustic work, otherwise I'd say it's Katatonia with new weird synth twists. And of course the circus keyboard in Onward Into Battle. Haha. That one's obvious ;)

mp3: Katatonia - Ashen <00:01/04:08>

This one begins with some Panopticon Isis ;) Me likez

Yeah, Idle Blood is almost confusing me from time to time.. "Oh, right damnit, its Kata!".

Liberation: 2:24-3:05... is that PT? :)
It sounds silly but its really easy to associate some parts with mike and steven, not that that comes as a shocker though.

Haha.. yeah, but I prefer to Opeth's stuff. There's a different sense of sincerity in Katatonia somehow :) Haha, maybe Renkse, Wilson & Åkerfunkel are sipping wine together way too often? I think this calm direction is much due to Renkse writing so much. He has a distinctly different style compared to Blakkheim. The album might've needed another heavy song or two for dynamics.. Yay, I'm just rambling on :)

mp3: Katatonia - New Night <01:59/04:25>

I agree, i miss some hevyness, but maybe its because I dont know the album yet. Some songs have really strange structure, so many changes here and there.
It will probably set in a few weeks.
