yes i'm serious. The vibe here reminded me of those old summer days in late 90s, so i thought i should listen to the things I was listening to in radio/TV back then, to see them differently.
What's the problem with listening to pop? some decent lyrics, unlike what you listen to these days in the radio and TV. It's always good to give other music genres a try man

To me, it's always the same beat over and over and over and over and over in pop... And autotune is not making it better, I can listen to robotic sounds in sci-fi movies
My taste is pretty much metal... Not because I think it's cool, and that it's true and stuff, but because it's my taste. You don't find one band I listen to that doesn't have something to do with metal.

in late 90's i was listening to Motorhead and Megadeth
Badass.
I had no access to metal back then, plus, i had no interest in music, so i was listening to whatever things my parents were listening to, or anything I encounter on TV/radio
