I seem to be a minority, but personally, I like REM the best out of all of their albums. Get the two disc version if possible.
 
Fates Warning - The Ivory Gate of Dreams

Just got this CD, and this song is fast becoming one of my favorites. Dunno why I overlooked this album for so long...it's excellent.
 
Running Wild - Libertalia

liking this band more and more, the sheer amount of quality riffs they've written is impressive

My favourite band :). Lust for Life is awesome and I just can`t get enough of Gamma Ray.
