I know. Have been studying and being active in social movements since forever. Lost relatives, incuding my grandfather, fighting the dictatorship in my country.
But I won´t fall for the trolling, I just recommend people here to read some Gramsci because this thread has his concept of "hegemony" written all over it.

And by the way, I´m not a socialist, but I guess that´s what right wing people label anyone who thinks that people should be treated with dignity, pretty much like religious people do by labelling something "uhholy".

idk...Sorry in advance if I sound like an asshat but why do we have to care about the losers in economics? So what if faulty loans were made, people should've done more research before they got into a home they couldn't afford. While we blame the Wall Street investors and bankers, the American people are the main ones who created huge amounts of debt for themselves and their family and they are to blame even more. They tried to live outside of their economic reach to achieve a fantasy of being richer even though they have to have 2 jobs to put food on their plates. I remember a couple of years before the bubble bust they had a survey and concluded that the avg American was in an X amount of thousands of dollars in debt. Last time I checked the bank never forced anyone to buy anything they couldn't afford.
