Oasis 160 closed!!!

I hate to be the bringer of horrible news, but Oasis 160 is now CLOSED. Another band I know was told to take some furnature if they wanted. Nothing is even in there anymore... That was quick, Hell I just saw ANTHRAX there last week!!! Well for a place that I hung out in a lot ANTHRAX was a perfect ending to something great!!!! :hotjump:

Gee, I wish I had to drive 40 miles for a concert. Most of the time I am looking at 75 or so. Granted, it could be worse. I could have to fly from Washington to Texas to go see a show, but nobody in their right mind would do something as insane as that.

If you go to the website, it seems like that place is a dance club. Most dance clubs have issues with liquor license renewal. That could have been the reason. The website has pics of girls dancing on bars and stupid shit like that. An indication of underage drinking.

Their website says they will be closed for the summer, look for them to reopen in mid September 2004. Sounds like maybe they are doing some work on the place and need to close it until they are finished.
