Vein-Marbled Tower
i only have cause of death and it rules but judging by the amount of people saying "slowly we rot" i'll have to get my hands on that one
Don't be such a smart ass.I plan on getting this and that soon and this an that, but who knows. I could get something else that is not 'that' and said/thought I was getting that and it's not that.

Or you could stop being an utter fag and start liking Obituary. I seriously don't understand people who can tolerate the vocals of Chuck Schuldiner or Martin Van Drunen but have a problem with John Tardy's vocals. His vocals are definitely a little more ridiculous sounding but it's certainly in the same vein as the aforementioned vocalists.
I am just bothered by people saying his vocals are "the sickest ever!!1!!"...I often wonder if these people have heard Effigy of the Forgotten or if they're just being retarded.
Exactly! I still think they are extreme to this day, just in a different fashion but thats whats good about the early days, nothing was set in stone.I think this probably stems back from the days when the vocals were very extreme - remembering of course that Obituary, as a first wave of death metal band did release Slowly We Rot waaaaay back in'89, when there wasn't a whole lot of extreme vocals to compare them against.
I (being older than time) can remember thinking the vocals were utterly inhuman and extreme.
Oh, and to the thread: Cause of Death gets my vote.
