Stuff like "they all loook the same" seems to be said by all grandmothers.

Mine was like that too.

My maternal grandmother (RIP) was the only relative of mine I got along with 100% of the time, partly because she was the one who taught me to swear . I would come home from school armed with all sorts of new words learned in the playground and ask her what they meant because my Mum wouldn't tell me. Ah, happy days...

Life is much less fun without her around . The rest of my family are quite normal by comparison.

one of my nan's is kinda with the new generation on certain issues, but then comes out with dumb rascist remarks about how my philipino brother in law will make my sister work for all the money that their family pulls in etcetc.

but then on the other side my pop is probably the greatest guy on earth, his got a mouth worser than a sailor, every second word that comes out of his mouth is either "fuck" or "pricks" or sometimes "fuckin pricks".

My grandmothers aren't racist, which is nice. My maternal gran is white African, but has black African friends, and also has studied Indonesian and spent time in Indonesia. All the oldies get along well with my Indonesian wife too.
