It's alright. I'm not the biggest fan of Meshuggah, but it is a lot better than catch 33. The first track is the best they've done in some time, but the rest is sorta average.
I dunno, I like it a lot better than Catch 33 because there seems to have been more thought put into the composition and Haake is actually on the drums this time lol...the only thing I wish I saw more of is clean progressions, like on "Destroy. Erase. Improve", but for the most part I think it's really good.
Ok so I downloaded this until I can get the original because I had to hear it and I'm mightily impressed on first listen. Combustion is fucking awesome and Bleed sounds about 300 times better in decent quality. Electric Red is killer also. It's great to hear Tomas Haake hitting the drums again and they really seem to be getting their heads around the 8-strings as well.
bah i've only heard one song but i keep putting off listening to the rest of it, i cant wait to get a free hour to hear the rest though, ive heard so many good things
