Off to see Nevermore in eight hours

It's symptomatic of the same desire to be labelled, grouped or to in some way have a belief set, even if said belief set is the belief that nobody can genuinely know.

Hm?

Thanks for posting the pictures and descriptions guys! You have me so pumped for future shows, gaaah! It looks like you had a blast

On a side note....some of those pictures are excellent fodder for the Neverporn thread, hrmm...

No it doesn't. Atheism precludes the existence of a divine being, it does not explicitly state that a human being completely ceases to exist at the end of its life. It is entirely conceivable for an atheist that a living being goes on to some other existence at the end of this one.

What do you call an Atheist that DOES NOT believe in after life or in any spiritual' crap' what-so ever then?

Oh, I know, you call them Karen.

Well if you also disagree with the entire concept of Religion you called call yourself an Anti-Theist, that's my answer when asked.

Religion is not really the problem. It's essentially just a mask, behind which lies the power game. Nothing else, really.

In some ways it's a positive thing, but that's got lost in the past 1500 years or so, with Christianity, at least.

Community, the development of legal systems, caring for our literary heritage during the dark ages, driving the renaissance, art, architecture and belief in something greater than ourselves amongst others.

I think you're conflating modern organised religion and it's various failings with religion itself.
