WOW.....italy got a spankin today hahaaha.......wow.....te dutch were a blast to watch....perfect on all fronts......amazing game....anyone else following the euro 2008 cup......so entertaining so far......PEAC EOUT
 
Since England were shamefully knocked out in the qualification stages I think I shall be rooting for Sweden this year,purely based on the fact it is the country where all the music's at!
 
Ha, I watched the game tonight in a pub with a couple of friends. Naturally, we had a nice evening as the goals kept coming. I don't think I've seen our team play this good in quite some time. France vs. Romania was pretty damn boring, though.
 
ahahahahahah.... well, fuck you too!!!... i enjoy football a lot (besides, soccer its like... mehhh), even more when its beautifully played, and recently your team doesn't have displayed any greatness... just compare them to Holland against the World Champions...
 
Since the Belgian national team sucks ass and didn't qualify, the logical choice of team to support for me is Holland. If they play every match like the one against Italy, they're going to win the cup. My brother-in-law went to Maastricht yesterday to follow the match, must've been one hell of an atmosphere (and beer consumption). Those people are crazy when it comes to soccer (in a good way).
 
The first goal was valid according to UEFA regulations. There was an Italian who had gone out of play behind the field line (he was pushed there by his own keeper), but according to UEFA rules when judging off-side that player is still counted in the game in the case that at the moment he steps out of the field, he still has time to rejoin the game, which he had. Therefore it wasn't technically offside and it was a valid goal as a result of the Italians not knowing the rules. Besides, before that goal there was a phase were Van Nistelrooy could've easily decided to fall after contact with Buffon to get a valid penalty.
 
holland vs. italy was amazing, especially the goal from schnejder (or however his name is spelled) it looked like an aerial roundhouse kick!
 
I'm not a big a football fan, I prefer Rugby I did watch the highlights of the Holland vs Italy game last night, that 2nd goal is quite something. Also, as our shitty team of over-payed, talentless wankers didn't make it through the qualifying, I think I'll be going for Sweden this time.
 
watching italy and holland made my day! was absolutely great, and made watching romania and france worthwhile. Im waiting for todays spain VS russia, hopefully will be good, although i cant understand the decision to keep fabregas on the bench. happy watching everybody! :)
