I'm in the Classic Metal show at mine, it will be in June. My first one (and the previous one) was the Cowbell.

Have you met any of the teachers from the Baltimore School?

I used to live near Chatham, I lived in Berkeley Heights.

Hahaha, not familiar with the Cowbell show.

Whats your setlist for Classic Metal?

Don't know any teachers from Baltimore. I want to try to make it down to Philly for the festival, but its a bit pricey to do so (plus its the same weekend as the Peter Murphy concert I wanna go to).

The Cowbell show? What, they just keep playing hte intro to Don't Fear The Reaper over and over again with Christopher Walken constantly interrupting? :D

Oh yeah and new Avatar btw.

I'm not sure what the setlist is, I'm on Seek & Destroy and Flight Of Icarus. The only other songs I know of are

Disposable Heroes
Holy Wars
Symphony Of Destruction
Over The Hills And Far Away (Nightwish version)

Damn, so they let whoever picked the songs stray quite a bit from whats in the manual. I was given a little bit of leeway... hence putting in songs like Crystal Mountain and Practice What you Preach. But the head director told me we're supposed to stick 80% to the songs Paul Green suggests.

And how on earth is Nightwish "classic" ?

If you'd play the Led Zeppelin song, that'd probably count as classic.. But Nightwish? No fuckin way.

The song Nightwish covered wasn't the Led Zeppelin song, it was by Gary Moore.

No version of any of those songs belongs in a classic metal set IMO, but then again I was forced to include a song like Welcome to the Jungle in our setlist, and I didn't think that belonged either (not because GnR isn't classic, but because they aren't metal).

Disposable Heroes would be the wrong song off Master of Puppets to choose. And in my opinion, a set entirely of covers shouldn't have 2 from the same band, but that's just me.
