Detroit literally has NO ONE to answer to their dirty stuff and haven't since Probie. I can't stand Detroit.
 
That whole situation was pretty weird. What Boyle did to Karlsson in Game 1 was pretty embarrassing. But Boyle refused to fight Carkner in Game 2. So Carkner punches him and gets suspended. It doesn't seem fair. Boyle must drop the gloves when challenged after doing what he did to Karlsson. However, Karlsson should've stepped up for himself in the first place...even if it was a cheap cross-check later in the game.

Why don't they just not fight? Getting punched in the face is never good.

more like a decade as they seem to have a new starting goalie every year. even Hextall gave up some bad goals when the Devils beat them in the 95 conference finals.

devils-panthers is frustrating to watch as the devils look dominant for stretches and like complete shit at other times. they scored 3 goals in the first 5 minutes and are only up 3-2 after the first period
 
holy shit nashville got outshot 41-17 and still won the game. i didn't watch any of it as i was getting drunk and cursing at the devils losing to the fucking panthers
 
they were up 3-0 in the first 5 minutes of the game. then the fucking panthers powerplay is unstoppable as the scored 3 pp goals and ended up winning 4-3. devils did score a goal that was disallowed to goaltender interference but the call was legit. the devils PK set a fucking NHL record for highest PK% in the modern era during the regular season. they gave up 27 goals in the 82 game regular season and scored 15 shorthanded goals but apparently the flordia PP is the best to ever exist as they've scored 6 pp goals in 3 games.
