i am also drinking the Stone 16th Anniversary IPA

its good, not as refreshing as the regular IPA, heavier and more bitter, dont really taste much of the lemon

Interesting. The lemon verbena largely is cancelled out by the hops, I'm tasting the eye malt especially, has a kind of nutty undertone

now finishing up a 22 of Drake's Aroma Coma IPA

really tasty, more mild IPA, slightly 'flowery' but not overly, reminds a bit of Russian River's Blind Pig IPA

I drink Stone IPA. This microbrewery trend is getting too out of hand and I can't keep up. I just want to get drunk, not have a pissing contest with some hipsters in the aisle of an Indian convenient store.

well lucky for you, you've already found the superior daily IPA!

not sure what else from CA you can find in NH, but look for Lagunitas IPA, and Lagunitas Hop Stoopid

I imagine CA as having a surplus of Pliny The Elder bottles. People bathing in delicious, aromatic hop baths.

yeah right, the brewery is 3 miles from the house i grew up in and i barely ever get that shit. now i live 100 miles away but it might as well be 10,000, i have NEVER seen a bottle of pliny in sacramento. i do usually go get a pint at the brewery when i visit my parents though :tickled:

A reco, nice, I'll keep my eyes open. NH has plenty of beardos and cat eyed glasses so a surprising amount of stuff makes it out to the mountains here.

Moat Iron Mike Pale Ale is my pick in a cross country beer exchange.
