Disgustipated
Cynical.
My Friday evening/WWII re-enactment:
The Holgate Mt. Macedon Ale; a winner as always.
The Bridge Road Hefeweizen; a disappointment to the German stalwart.
The Dundee India Pale Ale; massively lacking the kick of a good IPA.. what more should I expect of a Yank beer though hey?!
The other two are yet to be enjoyed.
These beers, combined with a 32C degree day, the sounds of birds in the distance, the view over the bay from my balcony, and the humming of Rated R in the background are making for a wonderful arvo.
Edit: QOTSA replaced by Sun Kil Moon and the Monteith's Black Beer is going down a treat. Heavy malt, thick on the palate with a dry caffeinated cacao after-taste. Probably not ideally suited to the weather, but is fitting well with current mood.
Fuck I love beer.
