Official RC Snobby Beer Purchases Thread

the seasonal ale was ok, never had a pumpkin ale before and it wasn't bad, very drinkable. now moving on to this Pabst Blue Ribbon, i've heard it's excellent...i'm told it was selected as america's best in 1893! and can you believe i found it for only $7/12pack??? insane, for such a "prized flavor" as the can purports...

$7/12???!!!! Dude, in Vermont it was like $12 for a case.

The first time I tried Stella was when I was in Belgium, and it is actually okay. It's wasn't as good as Leffe though, where Leffe brown is pretty good. Then I come to the UK and buy a bottle, and it's pure shit. How can they fuck up the brew that bad? From okay cheap to undrinkable shit, fucking faggots.

Heineken is the greatest of all international travesties. Try some when you find the 'dam and you'll know what I mean. Make sure it's from a tap, though.

a couple steins (1 liter) of beer from the brewery where we had dinner (specially made to match the beer sausages with kickass fries), followed by going to "The House of a Hundred Beers", not knowing what to pick, so buying some 9% beer from belgium called Satan Ale. Tasted kinda like only lightly sweetened lemonade. Was pretty good.

Damn! We meant to check out the House of a Hundred Beers, but we didn't quite feel like walking all the way over there.

Damn, too bad you didn't show up to the Necros Christos gig in Berlin, could have had a few beers!

Hmm. I had a few Heinekens out of the tap when I went to the Netherlands, and I remember it not being very good. I've had it other places too, and it's not very good. :erk:
