Nope. It has cascaded channels, and no loop (unlike the 1959X and 1987x).

There's a video floating around on Youtube from NAMM of someone jamming on one of these. It sounded pretty damn good (for a crappy camcorder mic), lotsa gain, too. Still no master volume, though, so it'll be loud as all hell.

Honestly I would rather go to a Egnator seminar since it would probably be in the same price range (my guess this amp is over 2 grand and an Egnator seminar would probably run me $15-1600).

That way I could just build a marshall clone I actually like and learn a bit about amp guts.

thats because you weren't a 12 year old in 1982 with a ratty les paul copy and a six foot poster of randy on your door and blizzard of ozz on the record player thinking he was the baddest dude that ever touched a guitar and praying to someday be half that cool.

Same here.
I wrote to a local music store and asked how I can get his sound, they wrote back he would play a modded Marshall 200 (!) Head.
I really can`t remember how many Marshalls I sent to the weirdest guys who where advertising mods these days.....
For some unknown reason I never came close to Randy`s sound.

Of course I will give this thing a try too.

The two channels (normal and bright) are run into each other in series. In real-world terms, it means it has more gain than a normal Superlead.
