Oh my fucking god.

Black Dahlia were amazing last time I saw them. Hopefully they make it back to Australia soon because their new album sounds like it may melt my face off live. Never actually heard of Animosity so thanks. They sound really fun. Yeah, I said "fun". The fucking beat at the beginning of Thin Retro God makes me want to dance. Brutally of course....ok not brutally. I'm to skinny, awkward and unfit for that.

...
I saw the Black Dahlia Murder like, one week ago in Portland while they were on the Summer Slaughter Tour. Unfortunately, I don't think they were even close to being worthy of headlining the tour. Fucking Kataklysm OWNED EVERY BAND THERE.

I think Black Dahlia were fucking amazing last time I saw them because it was over 2 years ago and they weren't overly popular here in Aus. Well, at least not in Brisbane because they played at a relitively small venue and it was probably only half/three quarters full. They're always the best gigs....or maybe I'm just getting old and hate large crowds of "hardcore" wankers?

The Black Dahlia Murder wasn't too overly impressive.
Beings I saw them live. They were old news, lol Kataklysm pwned them really bad.

Yeah, I was kind of surprised to hear two people say Kataklysm were better considering Black Dahlia's style is so much more unique and interesting to listen to. I dunno, maybe a dud show?

Aussie, eh? Any chance you might be a fan of Psycroptic? =]?

No accounting for taste. I booed Kataklysm and several kids next to me threw shit at them when they came through. Boring and uninspired. Drummer was sloppy.

I just lost a great deal of respect for you, man.
They weren't sloppy in any way at Portland. Kataklysm was way more kickass than tBDM.

Kataklysm=True Style Death Metal
Black Dahlia Murder=Boring MetalCore

Wow,

Alright to start off Timbus, I'm don't know if you either got a really bad show. or you just don't like Kataklysm. I love Kataklysm waaay more than the black dahlia murder. and to me, Kataklysm's drummer is way more technical then the drummer from the murder. I was front row, and Kataklysm completely stole the show from the Murder. I don't know if this pissed you off and you are a dedicated, die hard murder fan, but that's fine. If you don't like Death as much as Hardcore, that's cool. Everyone has there own taste, which seperates genre's and I believe you are the one who said so before. But I think to purposely Boo them, is just disrespectful. How would you like it if I went to one of your shows and purposely booed you? You wouldn't like it very much, Huh? Just because of your style of music. I wouldn't. I would headbang and mosh my hardest at one of your shows to tell you truth. But put yourself in there position. They've worked hard and put fourth a lot of effort and stayed on the road. To play music.

Enough of my Rabbeling.
Anyways,
Trevor, I doubt that him saying that should have affected anyway of how you respected him.

I'm not here to argument.

Er... It wasn't a question of genres, it was just a bad show. I'm not going to automatically rock out just cause a band is "working hard", that's kind of silly. As far as being disrespectful, I'm not going to show a band respect unless I think they deserve it, and to me, Kataklysm didn't. I didn't throw shit, that's stupid and gets people hurt. But if we could have booed them off stage and gotten tBDM on faster, that would have been rad.

Also, if people ever boo Nekrogoblikon, that means we're not doing a very good job. If we got booed for our "style of music", I would probably be like "why the fuck are we on this tour?" and better yet, "Why can't we get these people into it?"

Alright, I suppose I see where your coming from then.
By the way, Timbus. When you guys opened for Cattle Decapitation.
Did you guys get to meet them or anything like that?

I've heard a bit of there stuff. They're OK, pretty mad drums. I've always gotta be in the right mood for that kind of style though. I'm mainly a power metal fan at heart.

Sleep Terror are fucking amazing.

I can only listen to Power Metal when I'm RPing in the woods with my friends.

Which happens no more than twice a week. I swear.

The Cattle Decap show was badass, we had 5 bands, and we were direct support for CD, so we had 3 bands warm the crowd up for us. When we went on people went nuts. It was 100 fucking degrees (or like 35 if you're into centigrade) and we were all sweating like crazy, Ashleigh and Nicky both kinda got heatstroke. We all still rocked out and we had a mosh pit going the whole time. Because we've been playing a ton of SB shows, we actually had a bigger turnout than CD - though they were fucking amazing.

Haha. I wish you weren't joking because that would be amazing.

I'm hanging out for my son to get old enough to have "sword" fights with me while Rhapsody (or Rhapsody Of Fire....whatever) plays in the background. I may have gone overboard with dragon items for his nursery also.

Nerds are hot right?....right?

I was being serious. I go by Boyd Brixley, a jokester theif, and my friends are Valthras Marinoth and Dan-Kunor (yes, after the Rhapsody song).

I have an awesome life.

And if you need more proof, my avatar is me. Taken in Sophomore English class.
