dude, i can't believe you just found out about carcass! anyway, their last 3 albums are great but their first several albums should be avoided like the plague. and the only similarites to megadeth i can see are a couple riffs here and there, but that's it.

Carcass were a brilliant band, all their stuff is good, except the first album has v bad sound, but still, if you're a fan pretty much essential (sounds nothing like heartwork though, you are warned). Swansong isn't a bad album, but lacks that something that heartwork had.
Jeff Walker was in blackstar, and I saw them live. Pretty much an extension of swansong, except that on the album jeff tries to sing and it gioes horribly horribly wrong...A little bird told me he know works in an off licence.
Bill Steer plays in firebird, a stoner band, but from some people's reactions it's not that good, I think he's working in a call centre now...
We all know what micael Amott is up to these days (if not, try arch enemy and spiritual beggars) so I won't elaborate really...
As for Ken Owen, last thing I heard was that he had some kind of tumor.
Basically, this band deserves better! They are a huge influence on so many people I know, and their stuff still stands it's own quite strongly today (heartwork
