Ok heres One hell of a guitar-off

Scott plays great the rythm guitar, but I think that Hetfield is a bit, just a bit better, and so is Rick Hunolt.
Kirk did great stuff 17-22 years ago (yesterday I was watching the Cliff `em all DvD, and thought how great and fast he was), I think that Gary Holt is on his average, and so is Lee Altus.

Well...

Scott is probably the better rhythm player but doesn't usually venture above the D string.

Kirk isn't very tight live and never has been. If he was stricter with himself I reckon he could have been a top class player.

thats what makes him have his own voice on the guitar man,a player that is very tight can be very very boring, especially live!
