Ok so I've got a question regarding my friend

I'm bringing my friend along to the COB show at the 9:30 club in DC. He's a pretty big fan of COB, yet he dresses somewhat like a hardcore kid. Tight jeans, emo hair. You think he'd get his ass kicked right off the bat, or are people considerate enough to not care?

nah, its just the combo of his hair and his outfit would make probably make a lot of people at the show make fun of him, at least behind his back if not to his face. if he has lame hair but is dressed kinda like everyone else there i dont think many people would think twice, excep tmaybe to laugh at the hair.
