First of all I would like to apologize if there is already a thread about this topic, but I couldn't find one.

Now to the issue. I'm relatively new to Amon Amarth, been listening to them for about a year. I have the remastered version of this album, and honestly, I like the live versions better. The sound of the songs on the remastered version just don't sound right. I love the album, but does anyone know if the original release sounds better in terms of mixing? Sorry if this is confusing.

I myself only loves the live versions, except for WOOOS, TOTTG and SR

OSFTGH was at the time of tapes and when the older ones on the forum had no beer guts, the times of glory. The sound is definitely better and 1998 feels like so long ago.
