Hi.
It's nearly one month now I own No Reply and it hasn't left my CD player since then...I really like to discover new things each time I listen to the tracks.
My question concerns the track 'Unending Waves". What have you record again this track. I sometimes feel that this particular track should not have been on the album, cause it is a bit different from the others...it is less dark than the rest of the songs, and in a way break the envelloping darkness of the 4 first titles...What do you think?

true. Unending Waves is a different song but completely
fits the underlying theme of the album. dark and desperate
as hell.... "memories clouded by sorrow" theme echoes
throughout the album into "dead memories wandering"??

this is also material that was written at different time
periods. less lethargic.... more aggressive!!

somehow i feel that this song causes you to switch gears.
and this is good.... because No Reply is no easy listening
background music. rather, it causes you to look inwards...
and soak up feelings that a majority would like
to avoid altogether.

Actually, I find that while this is a very deep, complex and attention grabbing music, I also find that it DOES work very well as background music.. Probably because of the flowing nature of the structure and instrumentation. It's a very versitile cd.. You can jump around to it, meditate to it, sleep to it..

IT SLICES, IT DICES, IT EVEN WALKS YOUR DOG!!
