One Rode to ASA MOTHERFUCKING BAY

Fuck everyone who thinks people like Bathory just for liking Bathory's sake. 'They' truely are fucking amazo-deluxe.

I didn't start listening to Bathory until after he got croaked, although I knew who they were for years. Believe you me, it's not novelty/nostalgia shit, in particular this AMAZING song. Many times have I put it on repeat and rubbed my manboobs with cocoabutter in the hot Vietnam morning.

The vocal performance enhances the song for me. It's incredibly heartfelt and real. I actually really love the way he sings it.
maybe I should listen to it more. After all, I listened to it only once a while ago, maybe I'll like it now. I know you can find a video clip of the song on youtube, in case you didn't know.

His vocals are probably an acquired taste, so it wouldn't surprise me if it didn't grow on you, but I started to really enjoy what he does after a few listens to Hammerheart. Asa Bay is also even more effective when it kicks in to finish off the album, but wow, just fucking WOW, what a song.
