This has been said before but....

... what a fantastic album this is. Probably Queensryche at their very absolute best.

Guess what I am listening too ....

Now I see they are doing a sequel. But no degarmo on guitar? How the heck do they think they will come even close to the original masterpiece?

Great album, dont know how they are gonna go without degarmo, pretty sure he wrote half of the original.

Nothing quite like a good concept album. Dream Theater's Scenes from a memory is probably my fav concept record. I love the way they manage to bring back motifs and melodies and make them feel compeltely different from how they originally did.

i cant get into progressive rock,i find dream theatre to be quite boring, its like of course petrucci can play guitar but fuck, make something up that doesnt put people to sleep lol.

Operation Mindcrime is the greatest album of all time, narrowly edging out Physical Graffiti & Powerslave.

DeGarmo hasn't been in the band since the early '90s,

And yes, OM 2 is coming out in a few months. I don't think anyone has high expectations, not after the travesty that is their last 4 records. At least Dio is signed on to play the part of "Dr. X" though.

Seriously. Little Ronnie? Wow.

Yes Queensryche where never the same without Degarmo... much like Helloween when Hansen left.

They won't.
They can't!
They probably shouldn't, either.

The band hasn't been the same since DeGarmo left. Forget about his guitar playing - he was their primary songwriter! After Hear In The Now Frontier, there's been no evolution.

They should have quit when he did.
