They updated the site with some news. Not much that hasn't been mentioned elsewhere, but the Per and JP project could be mighty fine. DVD should be cool as well.

DVD..from Metal Hammer ...same news..:kickass:

"Details of London show release"

Swedish prog masters Opeth have revealed that last November’s show at London’s Roundhouse is ready to be released on DVD.

The band commented, "The films have now been edited by Dash Productions in co-operation with the band and the audio has been mixed at location in Fascination Street by Jens Bogren and Mikael Åkerfeldt. The DVD will contain the show (filmed in HD) and with 5.1 Surround mix. Band interviews, fan interviews (some hilarious moments here!) as well as photo galleries. A release date hasn't been set but it's hopefully set for a possible autumn :Smug: 2007 release. More details/title to follow."

The DVD will be their second visual release following the Lamentations show filmed in Shepard’s Bush Empire in 2003. The band are currently recording their follow up to 2005s sublime ‘Ghost Reveries.

The JP, Per project will kick ass. I know a lot of you think Clutch suck, thats cool I wouldn't try to change your mind. I got to see Opeth and Clutch back to back 2 years ago on the first Sounds Of The Underground and it was godlike.

I've grown to like clutch a lot. I heard about them like 6 years ago but never really got into them. Now i have four of their albums and love them all. JP (drummer) is definitely the best part of clutch if you ask me, so I'm sure him and Per will make some cool stuff.

Man, I wish it would be released maybe in late spring or summer, but whatever they have to do to make it perfect is fine with me.
JP and Per side project should kick ass!

Blast Tyrant, Pure Rock Fury, or Robot/Hive exodus... although each album is appreciable in their own way. Just so you know, they're basically a blues/southern/hard/stoner/groove rock band... occasionally metalish at moments, but a rock band really (much more so now). They just put out a new album From Beale St. to Oblivion which i've enjoyed thus far.
