Okay, so probably no one will post here, but whatever. I was just wondering if anyone had done a whole lot of writing inspired by Opeth. I myself wrote a novella that was heavily inspired by the imagery and I ended up becoming a state finalist in a competition for it. So, I may be breaching some publishing laws here seeing as Penguin owns publishing rights to this, but I'll post it for you. I myself don't enjoy reading it too much, others love it. Whatever.

Here it is.

I had to write a poem once. It wasn't really "based" on Opeth as much as it was just making references to Opeth titles.

Not really too Opeth-influenced but it's a fantasy story and attempts some environmental imagery and poeticness.

Ten pages double-spaced - 4,600 words.

^im sure it is a story about someone leaving his country one day because nobody loved him just to come back 5 hours later (to his dismay, the hate for him has gotten worse) :erk:

It's about me not giving a shit about you and letting the world be destroyed.
