OPETH will embark on a full European tour during February/March. Although no support acts have yet been announced, rumor has it that NILE and MADDER MORTEM have both shown interest in filling the opening-band slots.

Im extremely happy that they grouped Opeth with Lacuna Coil and Paradise Lost, and not a brutal death metal band. Brutal Tech death is my second fave genre of music, and for some reason I would never want to see a band like Nile before or after a band like Opeth. Almost ever brutal metalhead I know hates, or doesnt care for Opeth. I would enjoy Opeth so much more playing with goth bands, then playing with death metal bands. *shrugs* I guess its a better atmosphere.

Damn, I wish I could see these 2 on the same tour. I guess I have to settle for seeing Opeth when they come to NYC. Then, I get to see Nile on Ferbruary 8th at some more local venue. Cant wait for the Opeth show more.

I like both Nile and Opeth..Most recently, Decapatated opened for Opeth in London (earler this month) and they are brutal death metal....I think it would go well with Opeth and Nile but Arch Enemy should be added to that bill..

I saw Nile live and they didn't do anything for me. Origin and Hate Eternal were way, way better.
