These days, I'd take Opeth over Testament. Testament's new album was pretty trash, so I (you)'d be going for the old songs, which I (you)'ve heard a million times before.
Remember that Testament's B-Sides aren't very good. Opeth's entire catalog is quality, and you don't know what they're going to play, so you can spark up that fatty and go on a ride. Testament's gonna hit you with the same old heavies that you're gonna drink beer and head bang to like you do when you're driving drunk listening to First Strike Still Deadly.
If you DO really like Opeth, then it's a no brainer. Otherwise, figure out how you wanna spend your concert experience--with face melting thrash or progressive death metal?
