Opeth or Testament?

There is no right and wrong oppinion ^^
Its just an oppinion.

No, there are wrong and right opinions. For instance:

You should go find and extension cord, plug in a toaster, jam it up your twat, and then jump into a pool < Right Opinion

Opeth live is better than Testament live < Wrong Opinion

Hmmm.. Their older albums were better, I admit, and I do prefer their older songs too.
But judjung from their show in Athens 3 weeks ago it was pretty awesome. Thats why I'd prefer Opeth over testament.

Tbh, I've never met an annoying Opeth fan...they're just like everyone else who likes a particular band. I consider myself a fan of Opeth...well...some of their stuff.

Now people who post on Opeth's forum, that's another story.

I remember reading a post with some guy who wanted to off himself because Ackerfeldt called him an idiot. I didn't try to talk him out of it.

I like Opeth quite a bit. I'll probably be seeing them two days in a row soon, travelling after them like some demented groupie... yet I say: TESTAMENT.

Because it's fuckin Testament. It's not even a variable.

I think Watershed is scattered, pretentious and horrible. No songwriting at all really.
i agree with the first part of this sentence but i do believe there was songwriting involved...that record seemed extremely watered down to me..and pretentious...
I have all of Opeths records and i actually do like the band a great deal (most of you are aware of this)...I just couldnt really stand that record..just so..blaegh!
Live, I enjoyed Opeth...they were a bit static on stage but sound quality is pretty good..
Testament on the other hand really gets into the show..theres a little bias here because i got into Testament when i was an ankle biter so i have this attachment to that band...seeing them live was awesome! they were energetic and they sounded great..
I think one would have more fun at a Testament show as opposed to Opeth..i do think one should see Opeth atleast once though...

Opeth is definitely the more interesting band musically, and that's what I always consider first. Add to that I never really got into Testament to begin with and you have my answer. Opeth for sure.

The only reason I'd go to see Testament would be if they played tons of stuff from Low and The Gathering. I've actually seen them before but they just played stuff from the first four albums. Great show, Skolnik blows my mind, but I was kinda bored.

Their setlists have been pretty awesome...
