October 1998
The staff (!) of the official site is now able to offer you some Opeth sounds, right here! We have excerpts of all albums, as well as an unreleased track by Mikaels project, Sörskogen. Have a listen!

Some 50 minutes worth of music have been completed for the coming 4th album. The Fredman studios have been booked for a mid-March terror until a month from the 15th. Although no songs have been fully completed, some working-titles are: "Serenity painted death", and "And so you came". The band expect this up-coming album to be their longest one to date.

so whats with this song - ''and so you came''

maybe they re-named it, or maybe its another track, but has anyone got any demos from any of the albums? there must be some un-released (b-side equivalents) around?

Maybe Moonlapse Vertigo or Face of Melinda. Either of those fit the name, since she's now with him, and not at all dead yet.

Maybe "Moonlapse Vertigo" seeing it follows "Benighted"

you know..."come to this night..." Seems, to fit in my opinion.

Sorry to bring up something unrelated, but has anyone got the demo track 'Into The Frost of Winter'?

Into the Frost of Winter is the Bonus Track of the re-released Album Orchid. :)

I think it´s some thing in the bold "working titles"

first of all, you're all wrong. "and so you came" is NOT a song that they changed the name to... when mikael thought of the names "serenity painted death" and "and so you came" he hadn't written any lyrics. they were just working titles... duh
