FEMALE SUPERHERO’S ORIGIN STORY

A girl that’s still in high school gets married to a guy that’s already got some sort of college degree (working for the “evil corporation”) they get sterilized while still on their honeymoon when they are exposed to the radiation of the spacecraft containing a female infant (female superhero) that they raise as their own daughter until they get killed (imitation of the death of Batman’s parents and imitation of Superman coming to Earth as a baby story and explanation of lack of younger siblings) they get killed soon after their super powered daughter’s first day of college. (Instead of hero character and friends still being in high school to avoid all of those annoying elements of “being too young” that are always in every single fucking show involving high school kids) After parents’ deaths super powered girl discovers that the reason she’s got superpowers is because she’s an extraterrestrial (anger at her parents because they never told her) and that her earth father had a huge number of children with a whole dozen different women. (Guest characters with soap opera type element) Super powered daughter lives in dorm room with girl that is slightly taller (and a lot stronger/faster) than normal from pre puberty steroids experiments conducted by the same evil “corporation” (imitation of “The Centre” performing experiments on “Jarrod” in the TV show “The Pretender”) that killed the super powered girl’s earth parents. (This is the super powered girl having “connection” necessary to be capable of “avenging parents’ deaths”) With in 24 hours she’s killed the hit man (men) that killed her parents as well as the guy(s) who paid the assassin(s) (instead of hero character going on “epic revenge quest” taking years or decades) but the “corporation” seeks revenge on her because she killed someone that was “really high up” but she doesn’t die because her super powers make it hard for them to kill her and she begins to feel “cursed to live forever” (psychological element) she has to keep killing people to keep herself alive even though she doesn’t like killing the underlings because they aren’t really as evil as the evilness of the “higher ups” (psychological element) superpowers interfere with ability to have a normal sex life (sexual element preventing this from being published under strictures of the Comics Code Authority or creativity suppressing censors of “network” TV similar to Preacher and Johnny The Homicidal Maniac comics being so far beyond what Comics Code Authority would publish) and Spawn cartoon being on HBO instead of “network” TV

LISTING OF SUPERPOWERS/WEAKNESSES
FOR FEMALE SUPERHERO CHARACTER

She comes to Earth as an infant (like Superman instead of as an adult like the Silver Surfer) and she is raised as a human (instead of being obviously non-human like the Ninja Turtles) because she is a shape shifter, she is able to have a secret identity (unlike the Fantastic Four) so, even though she has her parents killed in the initial story-arc (to mimic the psychological element of Batman, but also to avoid the sappy-ness of the parent-offspring interaction dialogue that occurs in the Superman as a teen-ager TV show called “Smallville”) this character will still be viewed as a Superman rip-off if this character has too many superpowers that are too similar to those of Superman’s. So my idea for creating her powers is that she won’t have any of Superman’s powers

  • She can’t have any projectile power or pyrokinetic abilities (because these would be too similar to Superman’s “heat vision”) or Superman’s indestructibility or super speed or flying therefore she’s virtually powerless against an opponent whose only power is projectile (Cyclops/Scot Summers character from the X-Men)
  • She can’t have Superman’s telescopic/microscopic vision or Superman’s ability to process more images per second than a human (necessary to see where he’s going when he’s running/flying faster than a human could run) so instead of these she’s able to “see” things Superman can’t. This would be things like being able to see ghosts, invisible people, energy fields surrounding other super powered people (possibly vampires/werewolves), cloaked buildings, portals into other dimensions, being able to tell if someone she’s looking at is a shape-shifter “seeing” someone’s thoughts (like being able to see the face of a criminal by focusing on the mind of a witness) also if she can’t process more images per second than a normal person, then maybe she can only process slightly less images per second than a normal person, which would be a weakness because it would make her more susceptible to certain types of hypnosis (villain character hypnotizing her)
  • She can’t have Superman’s super hearing so instead she can “hear” ghosts and the thoughts of people (this could be a weakness if she is temporarily unable to “turn off” this power)
  • She is a shape shifter (an ability that Superman can’t do) but she can’t hold her breath quite as long as long as Superman, so instead of this power she’s got the ability to shape shift her lungs into gills and breathe underwater (because she already has powers in addition to breathing underwater she can’t have any kind of telekinetic power with any kind of aquatic animals because this would make her too close to omnipotent) also because she can’t have Superman’s super strength or super speed, she wouldn’t be able to swim as fast or be as strong as Aqua man
  • She can walk through walls (like Kitty Pride from X-Men) and turn invisible (like the Invisible Woman
  • She can’t mimic the Invisible Woman’s force fields and she doesn’t have any of the other powers of the fantastic four, making her useless against an opponent with a gun because her eyes can’t process more images per second than a normal person and she can’t move faster than a normal person and she can’t make her body solid enough to stop a bullet from going straight through, she lacks even a normal human’s bullet-stopping ability and that when hit with a bullet her body (around the point of entry) expands and jiggles in a way that instantly identifies her as a shape shifter
  • She can steal other people’s memories like (Rogue from the X-Men) but she has to actually touch them (even though she’s telepathic) and although she can pull their energy along with their memories (knocking them unconscious), she can’t steal the powers of other super powered people and she doesn’t have any telekinetic/magnetic field manipulation powers (because having any of these abilities in addition to her other abilities would make her too close to omnipotent)
