Well Scott tweeted and said it was the best show of the tour. I was at the barracade the whole night my first time seeing Joey I gotta say...he nailed it. His vocals were on point the whole night and he was interacting with the sold-out crowd big time. They for some reason screwed up A.I.R. and Charlie had to end it early, but it ruled. Megadeth then played but not a big fan so anxiously awaited Slayer and wow, sick performance. At the end I got pissed at the crowd-surfers crashing over my head and I got a little steamed, almost passed out but made it through. Scott was by far the most active guy on stage of all the bands, everyone's pushing 50 yet Scott still did his hardcore jumps like he was 20, everyone else in the other bands just stood there like they're old. Frankie tore up the stage just like always, even Rob was all over the stage. Scott promised a new album next year, so I'm stoked cause this band always keeps it's promises:grin:Anyway Anthrax ruled had a good time! Oh yeah $15 to park at Citywalk...gay!

YES such an awesome show. Sold out. So much energy by Joey. He nailed it. I have seen both versions of Anthrax over the years and preferred John Bush. I was also real dissapointed with Joey's vocals on the live CD they put out on the reunion, but holy shit. He killed it last night. I did the meet and greet and they were so nice and thankfull that I was there. I thanked them after my picture and Frankie was like "No, thank you so much for coming, we really appreciate it" Just awesome (and I have met them 4 times before. This was the first time I paid for a meet and greet). Set was shortened to only 7 songs. They dropped Got the Time and Only but added AIR. I just can't say enough about it. For those who think Anthrax is done (people who trash on blabbermouth) fuck you, really fuck you. They are such a great band. I cannot wait for the new CD.

My first time at the hard Rock live. We sat front row center balcony. I took over 200 pictures. Gonna try to set up a flicker account or something and I will post them here. I have some really awesome pictures. Cant wait for BLS/Clutch at the end of the month.

Very cool review. I too have seen Anthrax with both singers many times. John is good. But Joey is the voice of Anthrax and always puts 100 percent into his performances. Joey interacts a lot better with the crowd which adds a lot more to the live show. The future hopefully is bright for this band!

When you think of Joey do you hear a chours of black women singing "shoo bop shoo bop" because you're in love?

Any new t-shirts being sold at these shows?

The only new shirt they were selling was a Notman black t-shirt. I bought one. They had one with Among The Living on the front and Notman with tour dates on back. I wanted that but XXL was sold out after the show. I did meet and greet and managed to get my hands on two of the new Darth Vader logo shirts. They are not selling this shirt anywhere. Probably because of some stupid copyright laws with Star Wars. They gave them away for meet and greet. So I have two in XXL. May put one on ebay.

OF course Slayer/Megadeth had like twenty things to choose from each. One thing I found funny was Slayer's beach bag and towel. How un-metal is a beach bag and towel?

I'm doing the meet & greet in Baltimore this Wednesday. I was hoping the tees were going to be the 'vader' ones that they would be giving away. Cool!
