Orphaned Land and Coolness!

Exactly!
So, here's the plan:
Aviv Geffen as opening act, doing a couple of his own songs in Hebrew.
Blackfield next, followed by a short break and a preview of the forthcoming dvd "The making of ORWarriOR".
After the break, Orphaned Land enter the stage for the "3rd anniversary gig" of Mabool ;-), with Steven Wilson on keys.
Headliners Porcupine Tree deliver a 2 hour set, including guest appearances by members of OL and Aviv Geffen.
Well? ;-)

To be honest, I'd rather have No Man instead of Blackfield, though. But that wouldn't suck, no.

Btw, instead of showing "The Making of ORWarriOR" the show should be taped and be a bonus to that (imaginary?) fourthcoming dvd:p

Obviously ALL shows will have to be taped and released as a triple dvd entitled "Porcupine Tree - Orphaned Land - Blackfield - Aviv Geffen in: The Conquest of Europe 2007" ;-)

...please note the *slight* hint of irony regarding the dvd title, ok? ... ;-)

I'm on it. ( this is a joke! before everyone starts pm-ing me...) I am already the idiot with the camera and videocamera at every show I attend.
Making dvd's has become sort of a hobby of mine. I've just finished one for Epica a couple of weeks ago that I made as a souvenir for their show in Israel.
In fact, I have just finished a small piece of video today that I made to accompany on of my fave song of all time: Forlorn hope by After Forever. That sons brings a tear in my eye every time I hear and I am sad to say that the topic of the song is in the news again these days.
This song deals with the Intifada and I am uploading it to youtube right now. So I'll put the link here when I've finished.

Now remind me- how did we get from looking cool to this? never mind, I'll post it in the politics thread as well....

how about just "Steven Wilson and friends"?
it sounds lame but it pretty much hits the spot
aspecially if you add opeth to that tour
Not so sure about "SW and friends" as there's already "Justin Sullivan and Friends", the semi-acoustic version of New Model Army (one of my fave non metal bands btw...You might have heard "The Hunt" by Sepultura which was originally written by NMA.)
But I really like your idea of adding Opeth to this tour... :headbang:

And a special Steven Wilson jam with him self hour! Where he does his solo stuff and Bass Communium stuff. And maybe also that band where he makes Krautrock.. I can't remember the name, though!1...

No no, I know it's confusing since they have the same last name, but that one is very common in Holland. They are not relatives. And you might know that Mark actually founded the band After Forever, but they parted ways (not amicable) and Mark started a new band called Epica.
It is evident that he was writing a lot of the AF material, and also this song is by his hand. And it's simply brilliant. I have added the songtext in the video, so you can read along to the music.

I'm pretty pissed that PT again skips Denmark. Again. They also did so on Deadwing tour. Last time they were here were in 2001, I believe. But there I wasn't a PT fan, so fuck that. Steven, come on dude, we have a fuckload of fans!
